Lapu-lapu City's isolation facility almost full
Lapu-Lapu City’s isolation facilities for asymptomatic cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) are almost full as infections continue to rise.
According to Lou-Anne Mae Rondina’s Wednesday report on “24 Oras,” the city’s crisis management team has revised its strategy to allow asymptomatic patients to undergo home quarantine instead.
The local government will also establish a new medical facility near Hoops Dome.
“Nag on-site inspection na sila noong Saturday,” Mayor Junard Ahong Chan said.
“Kaya ngayon, andoon na sila sa stage na mag-process at gagawa ng plano. Para ito sa mild, moderate symptoms na puwedeng ma-cater ng ating isolation facility,” he added.
Chan himself recently recovered from COVID-19 after testing positive on June 12.
