Dinalungan, Aurora locks down purok after resident yields positive result in COVID-19 rapid test

The local government of Dinalungan, Aurora locked down a purok in Barangay Poblacion Zone 2 on Monday after it found out that a resident yielded positive result in a coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) rapid test.

According to a report on “24 Oras News Alert” on Tuesday, the local government said the patient allegedly did not disclose the result of the rapid test.

The patient came from a hospital in Cabanatuan City.

About 144 families were affected by the lockdown, which began at 8 p.m. on Monday.

The local government said the lockdown would continue while waiting for the swab test result of the patient who is currently confined in a hospital in Baler.

Meanwhile, 10 individuals who had close contact with the patient are currently isolated.—AOL, GMA News
