P6.8-M suspected shabu seized in Cavite; 2 suspects nabbed –police

Operatives from the Philippine National Police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency on Saturday seized P6.8 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Bacoor, Cavite.

According to authorities, suspects Jeffrey Garcia Santos and Alexander Maulha were arrested in an entrapment operation at in parking lot of a mall in the city.

Operatives seized around 1,000 grams of shabu with estimated value of P6.8 M.

Police said the suspects are currently detained at a PDEA-ROIV-A Jail Facility in Camp Vicente Lim, Mayapa, Calamba City, Laguna.

Charges for violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them. —Joahna Lei Casilao/LBG, GMA News
