Tagaytay-Talisay Road reopened to public
The Tagaytay-Talisay Road has been reopened to the public on Monday night after it was cleared of ash and debris brought by the phreatic eruption of the Taal Volcano.
Tagaytay City Police chief Police Major James Oruga confirmed the reopening of the road, according to a Super Radyo dzBB report by Rod Vega.
However, motorists were still advised to exercise caution when driving along the area as the rain mixed with ash has made roads slippery.
Barangay officials also warned the public against plying the road that leads to the People’s Park in the Sky as it is yet to be fully cleared of debris.
Meanwhile, the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road is now passable.
Oruga added that around 40 percent of Tagaytay is still experiencing a blackout. —Julia Mari Ornedo/LDF, GMA News
