By ANNA FELICIA BAJO, GMA News
A Japanese on Thursday died after snorkeling off Oslob beach in Cebu.
Information from the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) identified the foreigner as Marinubo Kuriyama, 52.
An initial investigation showed that Kuriyama suddenly felt ill.
His blood was also seen coming out from his nose and mouth, the PCG said, citing information from snorkeling guide Airi Hemeno.
Likewise, the PCG said the victim experienced difficulty in breathing, and the rescue team performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Kuriyuma then vomited.
Personnel from the PCG rushed him to the Oslob District Hospital. But doctors pronounced Kuriyama dead shortly after arrival. —LBG, GMA News
