Lanao del Norte police officers nab suspect, seize 25 grams of shabu

Authorities on Friday nabbed an infamous regional drug suspect during a joint buy-bust operation in Barangay Maria Cristina, Baloi Lanao del Norte.

Police officers from the Baloi Municipal Police Station nabbed Abudar Acmad Y Batuan, also known as Sadam Ariraya, on Friday morning at Sitio Pindulunan, according to a statement released Saturday.

Undercover officers allegedly purchased a plastic sachet containing 25 grams of shabu from the suspect, and seized the two cellphones and small pouch found on him.

Police Colonel Rene Solidarios assured the public that the Lanao del Norte Police Provincial Office personnel "will be relentless in their fight against illegal drugs" and all forms of criminality. — Joahna Lei Casilao/DVM, GMA News
