Parts of Laguna flooded due to Tisoy; Atimonan, Quezon on alert for river overflow
Severe tropical storm Tisoy caused flooding in different parts of Laguna as it crossed the southern portion of Luzon.
According to a report in Unang Balita on Wednesday, several houses were flooded and transport services were hampered.
On Tuesday, a landslide was reported along Lumban-Kalayaan road due to continuous rain.
Meanwhile, the local authorities in Atimonan, Quezon are still monitoring its creeks and rivers for possible flooding.
According to Jun Veneracion's report, though the weather situation has improved, the town's disaster risk reduction and management office is still on alert as the accumulated rainfall in the mountainous areas may gush down to low-lying communities.
