Woman shot dead by police-husband in Puerto Princesa

A woman was shot and killed by her husband, a police officer, in Puerto Princesa City in Palawan, according to a report on Saksi on Wednesday.

The victim was shot in the head by her husband at the grandstand of the sports complex of Puerto Princesa.

Based on the initial report from Police Station 2, they heard four gun shots emanating from the grandstand.

The shooting incident reportedly occurred after the victim, identified as Karen Cacho, and her husband, Police Corporal Raymond Cacho, were embroiled in an argument.

The police officer suddenly stood up and shot the victim before he shot himself.

Officials are still conducting an investigation to determine the motive behind the shooting. — BAP, GMA News
