College in Digos City badly damaged by Mindanao quake
A school building in Digos City in Davao del Sur was badly damaged by the magnitude 6.3 earthquake that struck the southern island of Mindanao on Wednesday night.
YouScooper Sam Joel Nang shared photos of Cor Jesu College in the aftermath of the quake. Nang is a law student at the school.
The temblor, which was tectonic in origin, happened at around 7:37 p.m. with its epicenter traced 22 kilometers southeast of Tulunan, Cotabato.
Netizens also shared the effect of the earthquake on hanging installations in their respective areas.
The epicenter had a depth of 15 kilometers.
Intensity VII was felt in Kidapawan City, while Intensity V was felt in Tupi, South Cotabato; Alabel, Sarangani.
Intensity IV was felt in Kiamba, Sarangani; T'Boli, South Cotabato; General Santos City; and Intensity III was felt in Cagayan de Oro City; Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental. —JST, GMA News
