Two barangays in Hermosa, Bataan remain flooded after monsoon rains

Heavy rains from the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) caused flooding in two barangays in Hermosa, Bataan, according to a report on GMA News' Unang Balita on Tuesday.

The floodwaters have reached waist level, forcing residents to use boats to get around.

Residents said they are used to flooding in their area whenever it rains hard.

Some children swam in the floodwaters, treating the flood as a giant swimming pool.

However, residents were warned against possible illnesses that may be contracted due to wading in floodwaters. —KG, GMA News
