11 Chinese, Korean establishments in Boracay temporarily shut down

The Boracay Inter-agency Task Force has ordered the temporary closure of 11 Chinese and Korean establishments that were operating on the island without mayor's permits, according to a report on GMA News TV's Balita Pilipinas Ngayon on Wednesday.

The Task Force, which conducted an inspection during the first week of May, said the establishments may resume operations once they secure permits.

Staff at the concerned businesses declined to issue statements but vowed to comply with the requirement. — Margaret Claire Layug/BM, GMA News
