Water at La Mesa Dam nears critical level —PAGASA
The water reserves at the La Mesa Dam are nearing critical levels due to the effects of El Niño phenomenon, state weather bureau PAGASA said Saturday.
In an interview on Super Radyo dzBB, PAGASA hydrologist Tonya Serrano said the water level at the dam has gone down to 69.10 meters.
With the thining water supply in La Mesa dam, Manila Water has since implemented water service operational adjustments which resulted in low pressure to no water in some areas of Marikina, Pasig, Quezon City, Taguig and Antipolo, Angono, Binangonan, San Mateo, Rodriguez, Taytay and Jala-jala in Rizal. — MDM, GMA News
