Maritime police official in Cavite arrested for alleged extortion
A ranking maritime police official in Cavite was arrested Friday morning for alleged extortion, according to Glen Juego's report on Super Radyo dzBB.
Superintendent Armandy Dimabuyo, chief of the 402nd Maritime Police Station (MPS), was arrested in an entrapment operation conducted by the Philippine National Police's Counter-Intelligence Task Force (PNP CITF).

Dimabuyo was accused of asking for monthly protection money of up to P20,000 from a group of fishermen in Tanza. He will be facing charges of robbery-extortion and grave misconduct.
As standard operating procedure during an investigation, all members of the 402nd MPS were relieved of their posts, the report said.
The order to relieve 402nd MPS members of their posts came from Chief Superintendent Rodelio Jocson of the PNP Maritime Group. —KBK, GMA News
