Scenes from Jolo cathedral after deadly twin blasts
Scenes at the Mount Carmel Cathedral in Jolo, Sulu, after the twin blasts on Sunday morning that left at least 19 people dead and dozens wounded.
Earlier reports indicated that the first explosion occurred inside the cathedral while a Mass was ongoing, and over a minute after the first blast an improvised explosive device mounted on a motorbike in a parking lot went off.

As of 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Police Regional Office-ARMM chief Superintendent Graciano Mijares said that the number of fatalities has gone up to 27 and the wounded at 77.
However, the PNP Public Information Office later said that as of 2 p.m., the death toll was at 19.
Mijares also later said that the number of dead had been misreported and was in fact 20. —with Jonathan Andal/LBG/BM, GMA News
