Shooting incident in Subic prompts lockdown

A businessman was shot dead in front of a hotel inside the Subic Freeport Zone in Olongapo City late Wednesday evening.

According to a report on GMA News TV Live, the victim was identified as Dominic Sytin.

The victim's bodyguard, who was wounded in the attack, was rushed to a hospital.

Based on initial information,  unidentified assailants reportedly fled the scene on a motorcycle.

Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) chairman Wilma Eisma has ordered a lockdown on the Freeport Zone, which means everyone going in or out will be searched at the gates.
