Light, moderate traffic on NLEX, SLEX, CAVITEX as long Undas weekend concludes

Light to moderate traffic was recorded on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), and the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) on Sunday even with holidaymakers making their way back to Metro Manila after a long Undas weekend.

An SLEX traffic update at 8:59 p.m. noted light traffic in Alabang Viaduct for both northbound and southbound lanes.

Light traffic was also seen on both northbound and southbound lanes of the Ayala and Calamba toll plazas.

On NLEX, on the other hand, traffic in Balintawak's southbound area was slow-moving, with the tail end in front of Balintawak toll plaza as of 6:23 p.m.

Motorists were advised to take Mindanao exit where vehicle volume is relatively lower.

Light traffic was also observed in NLEX's Bocaue toll plaza. Traffic situation in its southbound viaduct was moderate.

There was also no traffic buildup yet in NLEX San Fernando southbound lane.
