Kidnapped Grade 7 student escapes captors


A Grade 7 student from the town of Pangil, Laguna was kidnapped and later managed to escape from her captors, Vonne Aquino reported on Saksi.

"May nagpakilala sa kanyang babae, sinabihan siya na 'yung mother niya is nasa hospital," Pangil Chief of Police Senior Inspector Erwin Micosa related.

"After niya makasakay sa van, tinutukan siya ng baril at piniringan ang mata," he added.

The 13-year-old woke up and found herself inside a compound.

Micosa related that the girl was able to escape after finding the key to the room.

"Lumabas siya sa room tapos nakasakay siya ng jeep. Nakarating siya sa Paete, Laguna," he said.

"Nakita siya ng isang kagawad at tinurn-over siya sa DSWD," he added.

At first, the student was unable to speak because of the traumatizing experience that officials were only able to get personal information from her school I.D.

Later, she was able to recount her experience an was able to point out the compound where she was held against her will. The girl confided that she was forced to drink a beverage that was spiked by an unknown substance.

Pangil police personnel raided the said compound but were unable to find the suspect, a female foreigner.

The police are continuing their search for the suspects. — BAP, GMA News
