Abra PDRRMC records landslide in Malibcong, soil collapse in Danglas
Abra province's Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council reported that inclement conditions due to Tropical Depression Josie and the southwest monsoon had caused a landslide in Malibcong town and a soil-collapse Danglans town.
According to a Saturday evening "News TV Live" report, the PDRRMC had also warned fishermen away from the Abra River, which was swelling from the downpours.
Meanwhile, the inclement conditions were also being felt in Benguet's Baguio City, where the weather had driven public utility vehicle drivers indoors, making it difficult for commuters to reach the city center.
The weather had also caused a landslide in Ilocus Sur's Suyo town, where earth and ruble half-covered a road.
There were no casaulties from the landslip, and local emergency services were attempting to clear the road.
