Possible sniper hole used by Tanauan Mayor Halili's assassin

Police on Monday released photos of the sniper hole possibly used by the gunman who shot dead Tanauan City Mayor Antonio Halili.

The photos show a hole in a patch of grass that could have had a direct sightline to the mayor, who was hit by a bullet during the city's flag-raising ceremony earlier this morning.

In its investigation, police said the gunman had an elevated position about 22 meters away from where Halili stood.
