Probe ongoing on illegal Boracay pipe
Investigation is still ongoing on the recently-discovered pipe discharging blackened water into the sea off Boracay, according to the president of Boracay Foundation Inc. on Wednesday.
"Hopefully by the end of afternoon magkakaroon ng information 'yung ating LGU (local government unit)," Graf added.
On Tuesday, the pipe, buried along White Beach near Station 2, was dug up by the Community Environment and Natural Resources Officer (CENRO) in Malay, Aklan after being informed by a concerned citizen.
Samples of the contaminated water were also sent to the Environmental Management Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (EMB-DENR) for testing.

Meanwhile, Graf was also asked regarding the beach party which took place on May 1 despite the ongoing rehabilitation of the tourist destination.
Graf assured the public that they properly disposed their waste and did not leave any trace of garbage after the celebration.
"Walang problemang ganon, we know our responsibility alam ho namin na di pwedeng iwanan... Puro ho talaga 'yun nakatira sa Boracay," she added. — Anna Felicia Bajo/MDM, GMA News
