High-value target nabbed in buy-bust op in Bacolod; P3.7M alleged shabu found

A high-value target was arrested by authorities in Bacolod City after a buy-bust operation was conducted, according to a report on Unang Balita on Thursday.

Recovered from suspect Jeffrey Vergel were 18 packets of alleged shabu worth P3.7 million.

The suspect admitted to the crime. He will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 or Republic Act No. 9165.

Vergel was previously detained but was freed after he posted bail. —KG, GMA News
