Stray bullet hits home in Laguna during family’s media noche

A stray bullet was recovered inside a house in Calamba, Laguna after piercing through its roof during the New Year revelry.

Joel Abejero said they were enjoying their media noche at the dining area when the stray bullet hit their roof.

The bullet went through the ceiling and hit the kitchen, Abejero said.

Abejero said the incident dampened their holiday spirit and the family was not able to enjoy the New Year revelry.

He said they have brought the spent bullet they recovered from their kitchen to the local police.

In an earlier report, a stray bullet also hit a house in Misamis Oriental.
