Hours later, Batazara town folk saw crocodiles in the river feasting on the man's body.
On November 11 this year, a crocodile snatched girl in full view of her siblings. The 12-year-old victim's body has not been found until now.
The girl was fetching water in a heavily-forested area when a crocodile snapped at her and dragged her away in front of her horrified siblings.
Less than a month earlier a woman was attacked by a crocodile while she was fetching water, but she managed to escape.
Palawan is considered as "last frontier" in the country where saltwater crocodiles are still common despite hunting and habitat loss. —LBG, GMA News
