Calumpit man arrested for posting ex-girlfriend’s sensitive photos online

A man was arrested in Calumpit, Bulacan, after his former girlfriend accused him of posting her sensitive photos online, GMA News' John Consulta reported on 24 Oras on Wednesday.

The suspect, 26-year-old Neil Patrick Roxas, allegedly threatened to post more pictures if the victim, identified only as Margaux, will not give him cash and have sex with him.

"Maraming beses na po akong nakiusap sa kanya, pero ayaw niya po talagang burahin lahat," Margaux said.

Roxas, who claimed the pictures he posted do not show the victim's private parts, was arrested in an entrapment operation conducted by the Calumpit police. Seized from him were the P100,000 marked bills used in the operation.

The suspect said his actions were driven by his hatred toward Margaux who allegedly lied to him.

"To be honest kasi, galit na lang talaga eh. Alam naman niya 'yon, kasi napagsisinungalingan niya ako na parang feeling ko, napapagkaisahan ako," he said.

Police lewd photos and videos of several other women in Roxas' cellphone.

Police Superintendent Santos Mera, chief of Calumpit Police, cautioned women against having their sensitive photos taken as these can be used to blackmail them. —Margaret Claire Layug/KBK, GMA News
