Motorcycle accident traced to Manila Water signage left on Marcos Highway

Two motorcycle riders figured in an accident after a signage of the Manila Water Company was left along Marcos Highway in Antipolo City.

According to a report on Unang Balita on Wednesday by Bam Alegre, injured were Mark Anthony Rematado and his brother Angelo, who was his backrider.

Residents have been complaining about the signage for a Manila Water project which was left on the road without any early warning device for motorists.

Aside from the motorcycle of the Rematados, a taxi and a private vehicle also had an accident recently because of the signage.

According to a resident, six accidents have already occurred since the signage was left there a few days ago.

Manila Water spokesperson Jeric Sevilla said the company will coordinate with the local government unit to address this. —KG, GMA News
