Fire at Bulacan general merchandise store causes P75M in damage

A Sunday night fire at a Sta. Maria, Bulacan general merchandise store caused some P75 million in damage, GMA 7 morning news program "Unang Balita" reported.

The fire broke out at around 10 p.m., reached the Third Alarm, and was put out at 2 a.m., Monday. Around 15 fire trucks responded to the fire.

Among the store merchandise destroyed in the fire were appliances, mobile phones, and clothing.

Though arson investigators have yet to make any official conclusions, they were seriously looking into the possibility that the store was deliberately set on fire. — DVM, GMA News
