Vice mayor missing off Quezon province

The town vice-mayor of Polillo, Quezon went missing after his boat was battered by big waves on Sunday night.

The Polillo police said Vice Mayor Ramil Fajardo and his bodyguard were returning from a visit in an island barangay when his boat was battered by big waves.

The vice mayor's bodyguard has been rescued by the authorities.
