P1B worth of liquid shabu seized in Pampanga
At least P1 billion worth of liquid shabu were seized from a house in Angeles City, Pampanga on Tuesday morning.
Senior Superintendent Leonardo Suan, deputy director of the Philippine National Police's Anti-Illegal Drugs Group, said the liquid shabu were stored in at least 50 water containers and stored in rooms of one of the houses in Villa Dolores Subdivision in Barangay Sto. Domingo.
Suan said that the liquid shabu is the fourth stage of shabu manufacturing. He said that it will be placed in a freezer to crystalize.
Aside from the liquid shabu placed in water gallons, the operatives also found chemicals used in cooking shabu.
GMA News' Emil Sumangil reported on Balitanghali that according to the house's owner, lawyer Orlando Pangilinan, a Taiwanese national was renting the place.
He also reported that the air-conditioning unit installed in the room where the containers of liquid shabu where found was still on when the raiding team breached the house.
However, no one was arrested. —report from Emil Sumangil/ALG, GMA News
