Lani Mercado-Revilla proclaimed as Bacoor mayor

Cavite Rep. Lani Mercado Revilla, wife of Senator Bong Revilla, was proclaimed winner of the mayoralty race in Bacoor, Cavite early Tuesday.

Revilla, who had 106,964 as of early Tuesday won over Andoy Remulla who got 16,000 votes.

Mercado said she is glad about the victory because it means the tiring campaign was worth it.
