Village in South Cotabato under state of calamity due to diarrhea

A barangay in Tantangan, South Cotabato was placed under a state of calamity due to a diarrhea outbreak.

 

A report on GMA News' Unang Balita said that a total of 56 people have been confirmed hit by diarrhea in Barangay New Iloilo in Tantangan town.

 

The local government of Tantanan said that contaminated water supply in the village may have caused the diarrhea outbreak.

 

Health officials said they will inspect water refilling stations in the village because they also get water from the same source. —ALG, GMA News
