7 inmates escape in Lanao del Norte jailbreak

Seven prisoners were able to escape from the Lanao del Norte provincial jail early Thursday morning, a television report said.

 

A News TV Live report quoted the Lanao del Norte Provincial Police Office as saying that the inmates used a saw to break the metal grills and get out of their cells.

 

Authorities have launched a manhunt against the prisoners.
