LOOK: PAF Fokker plane damaged in landing in Albay


(Updated 2:55 p.m.) An aircraft of the Philippine Air Force sustained damage after a "faulty" landing at the Legazpi City airstrip in Albay Monday morning.
 
The Armed Forces of the Philippines' Southern Luzon Command (SOLCOM) posted on its Instagram account a photo of the Fokker plane after the landing.
 
It showed the plane seemingly without its front landing gear. Dents could be seen on the plane's front part.

SOLCOM said the plane "had a faulty landing" at around 9:45 a.m.

GMA News correspondent Peewee Bacuño tweeted more photos of the affected PAF plane, with tail number 10669.
 

Bacuño said the plane's six passengers included three pilots and three crewmembers.
 
Another set of photos showed firefighters at the scene of the faulty landing.
 
 
Meanwhile, a separate report by dzBB radio quoted Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines deputy director general Rodante Joya as saying the six aboard the plane were safe. — Joel Locsin/RSJ, GMA News
