LOOK: Rain, winds in Isabela, Cagayan ahead of Dodong's expected landfall

Rain and winds were felt in Isabela and Cagayan provinces early Sunday, hours before the projected landfall there of Typhoon Dodong (Noul).

Photos tweeted by radio dzBB's James Agustin showed light rainfall and moderate wind in Ilagan City, Isabela.

However, the rain and winds began to intensify before 7 a.m., he added.

As of 7 a.m., Agustin reported few residents coming out of their homes and going to church.

In Cagayan, meanwhile, dzBB's Glen Juego tweeted photos showing light rain and winds as of 6 a.m. in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

State weather agency PAGASA has said Dodong may make landfall over the Isabela-Cagayan area before noon. -Joel Locsin/NB, GMA News
