Remember 3 Ls amid El Niño heat, Cebu folk reminded
Amid the continued hot weather from El Niño, the public may want to remember the 3 Ls especially when they go out: lightweight, light-colored, and loose-fitting clothing.
These were among the reminders issued by the Cebu provincial government as state weather agency PAGASA said the heat may persist until May.
Also, the Cebu provincial government suggested that people start their daily routines early, since "early mornings are cooler."
Other reminders issued by the provincial government include:
- Stay hydrated: Always drink water even if not thirsty. Minimize sugary and caffeinated drinks.
- Do not leave infants and children in cars, as cars can heat up to dangerous temperatures very quickly.
- Be updated on weather forecasts.
- Find shady areas.
