Metro Manila sends rescue teams to Isabela, Aurora
Rescue teams from the Metro Manila Development Authority and from local government units in Metro Manila headed for Isabela and Aurora provinces on Saturday afternoon to help in areas expected to be affected by Tropical Storm Chedeng.
According to a GMA News "Flash Report", the teams are bringing rescue equipment, food, and water treatment facilities for areas where Chedeng, which is expected to make landfall on Sunday, might cause damage.
Although the storm is not expected to hit Metro Manila, the metropolis is still under yellow alert. Tarpaulins and billboards that were taken down in anticipation of the storm will only be reinstalled when the storm leaves the country. — JDS, GMA News
