NGCP: Emergency shutdown to affect parts of Benguet, Mountain Province on Saturday

A one-hour emergency shutdown may cause power interruptions in parts of Benguet and Mountain Province on Saturday, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines said Friday.

 

The NGCP said the emergency shutdown will be from 5 to 6 a.m. and will affect the Benguet Electric Cooperative's Irisan, Sanitary Camp, Atok and Mankayan Substations.

 

It will also affect the Mountain Province Electric Cooperative franchise area, it added.

 

Saturday's shutdown is to implement the repair of affected substation equipment and shifting back of power along La Trinidad-Sagada 69-kilovolt line. — Joel Locsin/JDS, GMA News
