Ex-Comelec chief Abalos’ granddaughter, companion killed in Pampanga

A granddaughter of former Commission on Elections Chairman Benjamin Abalos and a companion were stabbed dead in Angeles City in Pampanga last weekend.

The fatalities were identified as Ely Rose Abalos and Princess Ellaine Costales, according to a report on Thursday on GMA News TV's News TV Live.



The suspect, identified as Abalos' boyfriend John Albano, surrendered to police.

An investigation showed Albano visited the victim last Feb. 13, and had an argument with her.
