A pregnant woman in San Jose, Batangas has to undergo surgery to remove a stray bullet lodged in her thigh.

In a report from GMA's “24 Oras” program aired Saturday evening, Maricel Luna said she was just chatting with a relative outside their home last Thursday when she felt pain in her right thigh.

“Naramdaman ko, akala ko may bumato lang. Nakita ko may dugo na. Nung tignan yung bubong may butas na,” Luna said.

She was immediately brought to the San Jose District Hospital and was declared in stable condition. The baby was not harmed but Luna needs to undergo an operation to remove the bullet from her body.
