1 killed, 12 hurt as jeep overturns at Marcos Highway
At least one person was killed while 12 were injured after a passenger jeep overturned on Marcos Highway at the boundary of Antipolo City and Cainta town in Rizal province Tuesday night.
The incident occurred at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, GMA News' "Saksi" reported Tuesday night.
Radio dzBB on Wednesday morning said the jeep's 18-year-old conductor was killed while the driver identified as Jefferson Estrada was arrested.
Some 12 passengers were hurt and were rushed to the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center.
Citing initial police findings, the dzBB report said the jeep overturned at the northbound lane of Marcos Highway in Barangay Mayamot.
