Snake bites boy in Cainta

A boy was rushed to a hospital after being bitten by a snake in Cainta town in Rizal, one of the areas affected by floods caused by Tropical Storm Mario (Fung-Wong).

The incident occurred in Barangay San Juan in Cainta, GMA News TV's "News TV Live" reported.

Citing initial information, the report said the python was seen at the ceiling of a house in a subdivision as floods caused by Mario started to subside.

The boy's family sought help from barangay officials. The report said the python was 10 feet long.
