City hall employees in Iloilo sex scandal deny accusations

The two City Hall employees linked to a supposed sex scandal at the Iloilo City Hall have denied all the allegations, city mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog said over the weekend. “I have called them to my office hoping they might admit to the sex scandal, even just between us, but they strongly denied the accusations,” Mabilog said in a Monday report from Iloilo news site The Daily Guardian. Despite this, Mabilog continued to urge prospective witnesses to see him in private and disclose what information they have. “[This is] so that we can put a stop to this sex scandal that is eroding the good image of the city government,” he explained. But for now, the mayor said that with no admission or CCTV footage or video, "there is indeed no way as yet by which we can pin down anyone on this sex scandal.” An earlier report said an executive assistant and city hall employee were seen having sexual intercourse in a third-floor room of the Iloilo city hall. — Joel Locsin/DVM, GMA News
