Cops gathering leads on killers of Rizal university guidance counselor

Police continue to gather leads on the gunmen who shot and killed a guidance counselor of a university in Rizal province Thursday morning.

Investigators are focusing on a work-related problem and a personal problem as likely motives for the killing of Adorable Mas, radio dzBB reported early Friday.

Mas was a guidance counselor of the Pamantasan ng Montalban in Rodriguez town.



He was counseling a group of students during school hours when a gunman barged into his office and shot him several times.

While no student was injured, the shooting panicked them.

Investigation also showed that when the gunman left the victim's office, he allegedly fired his gun several times before fleeing aboard a waiting motorcycle. — DVM, GMA News
