Australian hostage of Abu Sayyaf released

The Australian national taken hostage by the Abu Sayyaf in 2011 has been released, according to a report on GMA News' "24 Oras." Warren Rodwell was taken from his home in Ipil town in Zamboanga Sibugay by seven armed men on December 5, 2011. In December 2012, a video of Rodwell surfaced on the internet, proving that he was still alive one year after his kidnapping.
