Kiko Pangilinan gains support of Pangasinan officials

Former Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan has secured the backing of several local officials in Pangasinan for his 2025 Senate comeback bid.
During his visit to the province on Tuesday, Pangilinan met with mayors and vice-mayors from various towns and cities.
Among those who pledged their support were Lingayen Mayor Leopoldo “Pol” Bataoil and Vice Mayor Mac Dexter Malicdem.
Other mayors who endorsed Pangilinan included Rizalde Bernal (Dasol), Marvin Martinez (Infanta), Joganie Rarang (Anda), Arth Bryan Celeste (Alaminos), Arthur Celeste Jr. (Sual), and Danilo Uy (Sison).
Dagupan City Mayor Belen Fernandez and Vice Mayor Bryan Kua also expressed their support, along with Bani Mayor Facundo Palafox and Vice Mayor Gwen Palafox-Yamamoto.
San Jacinto Mayor Leo De Vera and Malasiqui Vice Mayor Alfe Soriano joined the list of local leaders backing his candidacy.
Pangasinan 1st District Representative Arthur Celeste and 3rd District Representative Rachel Arenas likewise endorsed Pangilinan’s Senate run.
Pangilinan was warmly received by Pangasinan Governor Ramon Guico III during his provincial visit.
Earlier, Pangilinan received endorsements from Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero,Senator Sherwin Gatchalian, and Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
