PNP says it will remain neutral ahead of Eleksyon 2025

The Philippine National Police said Thursday that it will remain impartial in the upcoming 2025 National and Local Elections.

In a statement, the PNP cited Memorandum Circular No. 3-2025 of the Civil Service Commission that stressed the importance of exercising caution when utilizing social media to prevent partisan political activity.

“Patuloy ang PNP sa paglilingkod ng may propesyonalismo at integridad. Tinitiyak namin na susundin ng lahat ng PNP personnel ang mga alituntunin ng CSC at iiwasan ang partisan politics. Nandito kami upang protektahan ang tao, hindi upang pumili ng panig,” said PNP chief Police General Rommel Marbil.

(The PNP continues to serve with professionalism and integrity. We ensure that all PNP personnel will follow the guidelines of the CSC and will avoid partisan politics. We are here to protect the people, not to choose sides.)
