The 4Ps party-list is a frontrunner in the party-list race ahead of the May 12 midterm polls, according to the latest survey by the Social Weather Stations (SWS).

The survey, commissioned by the Stratbase Consultancy, showed that 4Ps is in the running for three seats in the House of Representatives with 10.44% intended votes.

4Ps, which stands for “Pagtibayan at Palaguin ang Pangkabuhayan Pilipino,”currently holds two seats in the House, with their top nominee, Marcelino "Nonoy" Libanan, currently sitting as the minority leader in the chamber.

Duterte Youth, meanwhile, is closed behind with 8.42% intended votes.

Further, the survey showed that Ako Bicol (2.51%), Asenso Pinoy (2.45%), Senior Citizens (2.28%), TGP (2.05%), and Agimat (2.00%) could gain at least one guaranteed seat in the lower chamber.

The survey was conducted last March 15 to 25 through face-to-face interviews of 1,800 registered voters aged 18 and above nationwide: 300 in Metro Manila, 900 in Balance Luzon, 300 in the Visayas, and 300 in Mindanao.

The sampling error margins are ±2.31% for national percentages, ±3.27% for Balance Luzon, and ±5.66% each for Metro Manila, the Visayas and Mindanao.

Under Republic Act 7491 or the party-list law, a group garnering at least 2% of the votes cast in the party-list race gets at least one seat in the House of Representatives. A seat is added if the party-list gets another 2%, capped at three seats.
