Escudero: LEDAC meeting eyed after midterm elections

Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero said Wednesday that the Executive Department and lawmakers are expected to meet after the May 2025 elections for a LEDAC meeting.

“We will be meeting again officially, may LEDAC atang binabalak i-schedule (the LEDAC is being eyed) some time late May after the elections,” Escudero said during the Kapihan sa Manila Bay forum.

A Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) meeting is being held to discuss the legislative priorities of the administration.

Meanwhile, Escudero said he will leave it to the members of the 20th Congress to decide if he will stay as the Senate president after the midterm elections.

“Nasa kamay ‘yon no’ng mga miyembro ng Senado sa 20th Congress na hindi pa natin alam kung sinu-sino dahil hindi pa naman tapos ang halalan,” Escudero said.
