PAF to join Australia, US’ Talisman Sabre Exercise 2025

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) on Tuesday said it will participate in the Talisman Sabre Exercise of Australia and the United States from March 29 to April 5.
“The PAF will participate in the Talisman Sabre 2025 which is a biennial joint military exercise hosted by Australia in partnership with the United States,” PAF spokesperson Colonel Ma. Consuela Castillo said in a press conference.
“The 2025 iteration, taking place from March 29 to April 5, will be the largest and 11th iteration of the exercise,” she added.
Castillo said the exercise involves live drills, amphibious landing, ground force maneuvers, air combat, and maritime operations, providing a comprehensive training environment for participating forces.
According to her, Talisman Sabre aims to enhance interoperability, coordination, and operational readiness among allied forces.
Around 90 PAF officers and personnel will participate as spectators, Castillo said.
The participation of the Philippines in Talisman Sabre aligns with its commitment to defense cooperation agreements with Australia and the US, according to Castillo. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
