Medialdea out of hospital in the Netherlands —Bong Go

Former executive secretary Salvador Medialdea has been discharged from a hospital in the Netherlands, according to Senator Bong Go on Saturday.
Go posted a photo of Medialdea on his official Facebook account, saying that the latter was already released after being confined in a hospital for a couple of days.
''Masayang ibinabalita ni Senator Bong Go ngayong Sabado na nakalabas na ng ospital si dating Executive Secretary Salvador 'Bingbong' Medialdea na ilang araw ring na-confine sa The Hague, Netherlands,'' Go said.

''Nagpapasalamat rin siya sa mga kababayan nating nagdasal at patuloy na nagdarasal para sa kalusugan ni Atty. Medialdea,'' the post read.

Go, meanwhile, called on the public to continue praying for the health, safety, and the release of former President Rodrigo Duterte from the custody of the International Criminal Court over crimes against humanity charges.
''Kasabay nito, patuloy na nanawagan si Senator Bong Go na ipanalangin ang kaligtasan, kalusugan, at kalayaan ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte,'' Go said.
(Senator Bong Go is also appealing for prayers for the safety, health, and freedom of former President Rodrigo Duterte.)
On March 18, Medialdea, who was visiting Duterte then, was brought out of The Hague Penitentiary Institution on a stretcher and taken to a hospital via ambulance.
Medialdea was with the former president when he was flown out of the country on March 11 to face his charges before the ICC over killings in relation to the drug war. —KG, GMA Integrated News
