Erwin Tulfo keeps lead in latest OCTA senatorial survey

ACT-CIS party-list Representative Erwin Tulfo continued to dominate in the latest OCTA Research survey for Senate candidates.

Tulfo secured the top spot, with 66% of respondents indicating they would likely vote for him.

Senator Bong Go improved his standing, moving to a statistical ranking of first to third place. His support rose from 60% in January to 62% in the February survey.

Meanwhile, broadcaster Ben Tulfo ranked second to third, with 59% of respondents expressing support.

The rest of the top 12 Senate candidates were:

  • Bong Revilla Jr. (51%)
  • Tito Sotto (47%)
  • Abby Binay (43%)
  • Lito Lapid (43%)
  • Camille Villar (40%)
  • Manny Pacquiao (40%)
  • Pia Cayetano (39%)
  • Willie Revillame (39%)
  • Imee Marcos (38%)

Candidates outside the top 12 included Ping Lacson, Benhur Abalos, Bato dela Rosa, and Francis Tolentino, who ranked 13th to 16th.

The OCTA survey highlighted that most of the probable winners were either former or incumbent senators.

Additionally, a majority of those in the top rankings were members of the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas coalition, a senatorial slate backed by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

The survey asked respondents, “If the May 2025 elections were held today, who would you likely vote for as SENATOR?"

Data for this non-commissioned survey was collected from 1,200 respondents nationwide between February 22 and 28, 2025. The survey has a margin of error of ±3% at a 95% confidence level. Subnational estimates for geographic areas have a margin of error of ±6% for Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
